Born and brought up in India, a country known for its rich and cultural heritage, Mrs Roshini Anil Melwani completed her graduation in Child Development and Post Graduation in Child Psychology. Her years of experience as a teacher and a directress both in India and abroad have earned her deep respect and admiration from her peers, staff memmbers and students over the years.

Her years of experience working with the SOS as well as with the mentally and physically disabled children have instilled in her a deeper understanding towards the needs and requirements of children. This has enabled her to open schools in various provinces in Mozambique and to cater to the all round development of children from all walks of life.

"The year 2007 has proved to be a turning point for Young Gemynds School. The school has been given a new look. Air-conditioners have been installed in every classroom and awnings have been provided in the students' quadrangle. Extensive work has been done to upgrade the computer lab, library and science lab. Portuguese and Computers have been incorporated in the curriculum. I believe that this new scholastic year will be as fruitful as the earlier years and I wish you all the success and good luck in the forth coming years."
